Since 1917 Forest Officer in D. E. Indian Govt service, principally stationed in the teak districts of Java; retired in 1947.

collections:

Van Slooten (in Bull. Jard. Bot. Buit. sér. 3, vol. 7, 1925, p. 370) refers to a no 3322 collected in teak forest in Pekalongan Residency, Centr. Java (July 1923). This is a number of the Beumée E series (see there).
