Born: 1901, Bath, England.

career:

Was educated at Oxford University (Diploma in Forestry, and B. A. in Botany).  In 1922 appointed Asst Conservator of Forests in the Malay Peninsula. Since 1947 Conservator of Forests in the Malay Peninsula. He retired in 1950.

Collecting localities:

Malay Peninsula: e.g. at Kuala Kangsar, Perak (Oct. 1926); in Kedah, P. Langkawi (K. Ayer Angat) (Dec. 2, 1929); NW. and N. Lipis Distr. in Pahang West (Aug., Sept., Oct. 1931); Pahang East Coast.
