career:

Joined the Forest Department, Malay Peninsula, as Assistant Conservator of Forests in 1925; seconded in Brunei (NW. Borneo)1 in August 1932; Silviculturist, 1939-41. He is credited with the collecting of some Ficus specimens in Java.

 

Collecting localities:

1925-41. Throughout the Malay Peninsula, but mainly in Kelantan, Perak, and Negri Sembilan. 1932. NW. Borneo: forests of Brunei. 1
