Born: 1902, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Malay Peninsula.

 

career:

Joined the Forest Department Malay Peninsula in 1920 as Forest Ranger; since 1946 Assistant Conservator of Forests. Took his diploma in forestry at Rangoon University in 1927.

 

Collecting localities:

Malay Peninsula. 1923-25. Kuala Lipis Distr. in Pahang.-1927-37. Temerloh Distr. in Pahang.-1937-38. Klang Distr. in Selangor-1938-41. Lower Perak.

During a visit to the Bera River plants were collected also.1

Herb. Kuala Lump. [KEP]: mainly from Pahang, a few nos of plants during a journey to Tasek Bera (Temerloh), in 1931; numbered in the C. F. (see sub Conservator of Forests) series.
