Canarium sanchezii Merr. was named after him.

Herb. Manila [PNH]: 19 Philippine plants (pres. 1911/12) and 24 Benguet plants (Luzon) for identification (1912/13). At all events he collected in Mindanao¹ and Cebu² too.
