Latin for 'the tenth, or biggest'.

Description
Emergent tree up to 60 m tall and 2 m dbh. Pseudo-stipules early falling,
leaving a scar. Leaves alternate, compound, penni-veined, with entire margin.
Flowers ca. 11 mm in diameter, placed in axillary narrow panicles. Fruits ca. 80
mm long, fleshy drupe.
Ecology
In undisturbed forests up to 100 m altitude. In secondary forests usually
present as a pre-disturbance remnant.
Uses
Cultivated, especially in Java, for the fruits.

Java, Borneo (Sabah and East-Kalimantan), Celebes, Moluccas and New Guinea.
