Latin for 'from Borneo'.
Description
Mid-canopy tree up to 39 m tall and 99 cm dbh. Stipules absent? Leaves
alternate, compound with leaflets alternating along the rachis, leaflets penni-veined,
glabrous. Flowers ca. 3 mm diameter, yellowish, placed in racemes. Fruits ca.138
mm long, yellow-red-brown, dehiscent pods, inside of pod shiny slivery-golden
coloured, seeds red with black.
Ecology
In undisturbed mixed dipterocarp forests up to 500 m altitude. Usually on
hillsides. In secondary forests usually present as a pre-disturbance remnant
tree.

Borneo (Sarawak, Sabah, West-, Central- and East-Kalimantan).
