The objective is to upgrade the existing database of the Amazon Tree Diversity Network (ATDN) with environmental information available from the original publications, unpublished databases and maps. In addition, to analyse the spatial patterns of tree alpha-diversity in the Amazon Basin at local and regional scale, and conduct a statistical analysis of the relationship between diversity climate, soil, topography, altitude and other environmental factors. |
