Patterns of Bryophyte Diversity in the Amazon Basin "A neutral model with zero dispersal limitation?"

Sylvia Mota de Oliveira

The main objective of this study is to test if neutral theory is capable of explaining alpha- and beta-diversity patterns in moss communities over the Amazon. Specifically we are interested if the low dispersal limitation has a significant effect on similarities of communities at forest level or habitat level. Furthermore we are interested in general patterns of Bryophyte diversity at local level (tree) and regional level.
