Collecting localities:

From 1871-82 he explored E. Siberia. In 1879, when on his home voyage in a Russian ship, he gathered some plants in Singapore (cf. E. Bretschneider, History of European discoveries in China, London 1898, p. 1035 (the cited Christian name Foma is the pronunciation of Ooma).
