career:

A missionary in the Kai Islands from Sept. 1907-June 1927. He was stationed in Klein Kai (=Noehoerowa), respectively at Langgoer, Namar and Ohoideertoetoe. Since 1921 he made tours to SW. New Guinea and the Tanimber Islands.
