career:

Was a member of a small exploring party to look into the flora and fauna, and to do some clearing of the bush with a view to occupation at a later time in P. Jong, near Singapore. Small zoological and botanical collections were made during the trip.¹ According to Mr Holttum he is not worth mentioning, he only sent few unsuitable ornamentals to Hort. Sing. (in 1924 and 1928).
