Born: 1882, Wells, Somerset, England. Died: 1952, ? Cambridge, England.

 

career:

Plant pathologist (Ph. Dr Cambridge 1905); in 1914 temporarily in the Agricultural Department Str. Settlem.; in 1919 appointed Lecturer in Botany at Cambridge University, and Professor of Botany in 1936.

 

Collecting localities:

Malay Peninsula. 1914. Around Kuala Lumpur, in Prov. Wellesley and elsewhere in the Peninsula (cf. Burkill in Gard. Bull. Str. Settlem. 4, 1927, nos 4-5).
