Born: 1874, Wakefield, Yorkshire, England.

 

career:

Wife of I.H. Burkill (see there), from 1912-25 residing in Singapore. Her chief interest is in Fungi.

 

Collecting localities:

Collected plants at Brastagi, Sumatra East Coast (Dec. 2-21, 1921), with Miss A.M. Burkill.

Herb. Sing. [SING]: Sumatra plants (132, nos 15401-15500, 16301-16332),1 and Fungi from the Malay Peninsula. Dupl. of the Sumatra coll. in Herb. Kew [K]; Fungi dupl. in Herb. Kuala Lump. [KEP] (pres. 1918).

No phanerogams were collected in the Malay Peninsula.
