Born: 1894, Magelang, Java.

 

career:

Since 1912 ‘Boscharchitect’ in the D.E. Indian Forest Service; for many years stationed in the teak districts of Java, in Oct. 1924 transferred to Central Celebes (Malili), in June 1935 to Soembawa (Bima), and since 1940 stationed in Java again. In 1946, after the Japanese occupation, he was reappointed in Timor; he retired at the end of the year.

Centr. Celebes: Malili subdiv. (1925-29, 1933-35).
