Born: 1900, Amsterdam, Holland.

 

career:

Phytopathologist, educated at Utrecht University, taking his Ph. Dr’s degree in 1927; subsequently appointed Botanist at the Besuki Experiment Station (Djember) in E. Java, filling the latter office till the end of 1939; since September 1940 teacher at the Colonial Agricultural School, Deventer (Holland); since 1941 leader of the scientific department of the ‘C. V. Landbouwbureau M. Wiersum’ at Groningen.

 

Collecting localities:

1938. E. Java: G. Lamongan and G. Merapi-Idjen.

Herb. Bog. [BO]: > 9 nos. He had a small private collection, but as it remained at Djemher in E. Java, it is probably lost now.
