career:

Botanist, educated at Utrecht University, where he took his Ph. Dr’s degree when on European furlough in 1927.1 After having been Custodian of the Botanical Museum, Utrecht, he went to the D.E.I. as Group-Adviser of the Experiment Station for the Java Sugar Industry at Pasoeroean, 1921-26; subsequently Agricultural Adviser of the International Credit and Commercial Company Rotterdam (lnternatio) at Semarang, 1927-33; after his retirement he returned to Holland and settled at Utrecht as a psycho-analyst.

E. Java. 1923. Pandaän, s.f. Alkmaar, Pasoeroean (G. Semongkrong, Bangil, Probolinggo, Modjokerto, etc.).-1924. Kediri, Bangil.-1925. Soember Brantas, Batoe.-1926. G. Tengger.-1927-33. Centr. Java: in Soebah (Aug. 1932), etc.
