career:

Chief of the Subtropical Division of the Institute of Applied Botany, Leningrad, paid a visit to Buitenzorg (Java) during August and September 1926, making a study of tropical crops.1

 

collections:

He collected Polygonum pulchrum Blume at Sabang, P.W (= Weh) (July 29, 1926); specimen in Herb. Bog. [BO]. Probably he collected other plants too, but presented the above-mentioned plant to the Buitenzorg Herbarium, as Danser at that time was engaged on the monograph of the Malaysian Polygonaceae.
