Born: c. 1877.

 

career:

An Indonesian, employed by the Botanic Gardens at Buitenzorg, finally as assistant ‘mantri’. He was attached to several expeditions as a plant collector.

Dendrobium ajoebii J.J.Sm. was named after him.
