Joined the Forest Department Malay Peninsula in Sept. 1925; Instructor of the Forest School.

Collecting localities:

Malay Peninsula: Kanching Forest Reserve, Selangor (1927); Bubu Reserve in Perak (early part of 1933) with the Forest Botanist ( ? Symington); Bruas Reserve (March 1935). He collected all over the Peninsula.

Herb. Kuala Lump. [KEP]: 60 nos from G. Bubu etc., numbered in the C.F. (see sub Conservator of Forests) series.
