Plants from the Philippines (coll. about 1910) in Herb. Ann Arbor [MICH] (cf. Index Herb. pt II, 1954). According to the Director, Prof. H.H. Bartlett, he may have been a student collector, and it seems possible that the specimens were brought back by Dr F.C. Gates who taught at the College of Agriculture, University of the Philippines.
