Information:

The Forestry Service at Hollandia, North New Guinea, established since 1950, started a local herbarium in 1952. All the collections are numbered in a B.W. series; in general two twigs of every number were kept at Hollandia, while the remaining material is sent to Herb. Leiden. When only one fertile twig is available, it is sent to Leiden. In 1958 the herbarium was transferred to Manokwari.
