Born: 1879, Haarlem, Holland. Died: 1891, Velp, Gld., Netherlands.

career:

Forest Officer, employed by the D.E. Indian Forest Service since 1903; in the beginning stationed in E. and Centr. Java (e.g. in S. Soerabaja in 1915), since 1919 at Buitenzorg; in 1925 appointed Inspector, in 1926 Chief Inspector of the Forest Service. He retired in 1930.

Herb. Bog. [BO]: no 2979 collected in the series Beumée (see there), Stereospermum suaveolens DC. in Soerabaja Residency (Oct. 1918). Evidently dupl. of the said number in Kew [K] and Leiden [L].
