Born: 1930, Blayney, N.S.W., Australia.

 

career:

Graduate of the Australian Forestry School and Queensland University; after World War II Forest Officer at Bulolo, Territory of New Guinea. Later Senior Forest Officer, stationed at Port Moresby, Papua.

 

Collecting localities:

Plants from Bulolo Valley and Aiyura Distr., NE. New Guinea, and from Lake Kutubu along Mendi track in the Southern Highlands, Papua (May 1956).  He further collected on Brown River (1955), Mt Lakes near Port Moresby (Apr. 1956), and with E.J.H. Corner at Waitape (Aug. 1960).
