Born: 1890, Groningen, Holland. Died: c. Dec. 1945, murdered by extremists, Batavia, Java.

 

career:

Doctor of Law, educated at Amsterdam University; Secretary of the Agricultural Department of the Experiment Station for the Java Sugar Industry (Pasoeroean), 1913-20; ditto of the Java Sugar Employers’ Union, 1920-22, and of the Agricultural Department again, 1922-24; ditto of the said Experiment Station, 1925-27. Lastly a member of the sollicitor’s office Messrs Maclaine Pont, van Harreveld and Kraaijenbrink at Batavia.

 

Collecting localities:

E. Java: Dessa Ngepoeh, G. Tengger (Apr. 1915) and probably at other times on the Tengger complex.
