Born: 1856, Cilli, Austria. Died: 1934, Innsbrück, Austria.

 

career:

Botanist, educated at Graz University (Ph. Dr 1879); in 1889 appointed Extraordinary Professor and in 1891 Professor in the University of Innsbrück. He paid a visit to Java from Nov. 10, 1903-Jan. 21, 1904 for the study of parasitic phanerogams.1

Author of several plant morphological papers.2
