career:

Geologist, working for the Standard Oil Co. in the Philippines, is cited as the collector of some plants in the Philippines, on Mt St. Thomas etc. in Luzon (cf. Christensen in Dansk Bot. Ark. 6, 1929, p. 69).

 

collections:

Mosses collected by him on Mt Santo Tomas were described by Z. Pilous (in Preslia 26, 1954, p. 149-152). They were evidently collected in Luzon in 1921, and formed part of the large moss herbarium of Prof. Dr J. Podpĕra, which is now incorporated in the Bot. Div. Nat. Mus. Prague [PR].
