Born: 1878, Zwolle, O., Holland. Died: 1957, Zeist, U., Holland.

 

career:

Was educated in the Agricultural College at Wageningen and in Germany and took his degree at Munich in 1912;1 since Dec. 1899 in the employ of the D.E. Indian Forest Service, during his whole term of office stationed in Java; finally in 1930 Inspector in Chief; retired in 1933.

Author of many papers relating to forestry in the periodical ‘Tectona’.
