career:

Owner of the cutter ‘Loelia’ in which he made a voyage to the West Pacific.1 See also under I.A.M. Okney.

 

Collecting localities:

SE. New Guinea, Papua. He visited the island on the home voyage in the first half of 1873, touching at Manu-Manu in Redscar Bay, etc.; May 25 back at Somerset. He collected near the Baxter River (= Mai Kusa).
