Born: 1902, Fort de Kock, Sumatra. Died: 1984, The Hague, Holland.

 

career:

Passed her final examination in natural history in 1928 at Leiden University; from 1934-40 Assistant at the Medical College, Batavia; subsequently on furlough to Holland and till 1945 unable to come back to Java on account of the war. In 1945 she returned to Java, and was appointed on the staff of the Military Hygienical Institute, Batavia. In the thirties she did research work on skin Fungi.

 

Collecting localities:

SW. Celebes (July 1935), on a tour by car from Makassar to Rante Pao and Palopo, collecting near Todjamboe, Enrekang, Lemo-Lemo, Pasoei, Kalosi, etc.; W. Java: Depok (Apr. 1936); Centr. Java: Dieng Plateau (mid-1937);1 W. Java: Oedjoeng Genteng, Djampangs (S. coast) (June 6, 1938).
