Was employed by the Forest Service in Br. N. Borneo from 1948 onwards; graduate of the Forest School, Kepong, in 1949; in 1955 stationed at Weston as Forest Ranger.

Collecting localities:

Most of his collections made at Sandakan and Labuk.
