Born: 1888, Unisan, Tayabas, P.I.

 

career:

Attented the ranger course, School of Forestry (U.P.), from 1911-12; 1912-19 Ranger at Los Baņos and Manila. From 1919-23 he studied forestry in Washington University and was subsequently appointed Forester at large, Bureau of Forestry, Manila. In 1927 he reached the rank of Assistant Director of Forestry, later Director of the Department.

Author of some small sylvicultural papers.

He collected in the Philippines, numbered in the F.B. (Forestry Bureau, see there) series. Contributed a plant from Palawan (May 1949) to the P.N.H. series (cf. sub Philippine National Herbarium [PNH]).
