Born: 1905, Oosterhout, N.Br., Holland.

career:

Roman Catholic missionary; since 1931 stationed at Merauke (Dutch S. New Guinea). In 1947 in Holland.

Author of numerous articles in Roman Catholic newspapers, mission periodicals etc. He is preparing a monograph on the Boadzjie of the Upper Fly River.

No dried collections. He sent living orchids from the Fly, Maro, and Koembe rivers to Hort. Bog., in the years 1933-36.
