Born: 1889, Manila, Luzon, P. I.

 

career:

A Filipino, at first Ranger of the Bureau of Forestry at Manila, and later Headranger of the Forestry Service in Br. N. Borneo; in 1926 appointed Deputy Asst Conservator of Forests.

He retired from the Forest Department of North Borneo on 8th June 1957 after 42 years of service.

Several plants are named after him, especially by Merrill.
