Born: 1895, Budapest, Hungary.

 

career:

Geologist in the employ of the B.P.M. (Batavian Oil Company) since 1929, in 1931/32 stationed at Serajoe on the Moesi River in Palembang, S. Sumatra. He intended to write a geographical paper in which he would like to include plantgeographical remarks. For this aim he collected plants which he sent for identification to Buitenzorg. At present he is employed in New Jersey.

 

Collecting localities:

c. 1931-32. S. Sumatra, Palembang: upper course of the Batangharilero, Sg. Merauti, dessa Poeroen, Moesi Lematang.

He sent 280 wood samples, leaves and seeds for identification to Herb. Bog. [BO].
