career:

Entomologist who took his degree in 1924 at Utrecht University; 1924-28 employed by the Malang Experiment Station; subsequently Adviser of the ‘Internatio’, stationed at Semarang. From 1938 till his death teacher at the Agricultural School at Deventer (Holland).
