Born: 1890, Makassar, Celebes.

career:

At first Head Overseer, in later years promoted to a higher rank in the D.E. Indian Forest Service; in Dec. 1911 stationed in P. Boeton (= Boetoeng), and in Febr. 1921 at Raha in P. Moena, both islands situated S of Celebes; in Febr. 1924 transferred to Bonthain (SW. Celebes), in June 1926 to S. Sumatra at Tandjong Karang, June 1932 to Makassar (SW. Celebes). He retired in 1936 and afterwards settled at Bandoeng.
