Born: 1893, The Hague, Holland. Died: 1957, Amsterdam, Holland.

 

career:

Was educated at Wageningen Agricultural College; Forest Officer in Surinam, 1920-26; in 1926 transferred to the D.E. Indian Forest Service and stationed in Java; for several years (1929-36) in Celebes (Makassar), subsequently at Buitenzorg and since 1941 at Malang, E. Java. He resigned in 1947.

Author of a typescript on the Moluccas (in For. Res. Inst. Buitenzorg).
