Born: 1879, Amsterdam, Holland. Died: 1915, Amsterdam, Holland.



Biologist, first wife of J. Jeswiet (see there), followed her husband to Java. In December 1914 she returned to Holland to undergo an operation, and shortly after died.


Collecting localities:

Centr. Java: G. Slamat with Jeswiet (Nov. 28, 1912); E. Java: G. Welirang-Ardjoeno with Jeswiet (March 21, 1913), G. Hijang, basin kali Djeloewang (Oct. 19, 1913); Nongkodjadjar (Oct. 8-10, 1914) Moengal Pass near Tosari (Oct. 28, 1914). E. Java.



Herb. Bog. [BO]: collection labelled Jeswiet-Hagedoorn or Hagedoorn-Jeswiet (pres. 1913). In Herb. Univers. Amsterdam [AMD]: dupl. Jeswiet-Hagedoorn, e.g. of Rumex brownii Campd.1

When she stopped collecting, her husband still used the old labels for some time.
