Born: 1724. Died: 1776.

Chaplain who accompanied 3 voyages of the Swedish East India Company to China between 1747-53. From letters to Linnaeus it is evident that he made drawings and collected at least zoologically. He made a diary on the voyage 1748-49.

Later minister at Wallda, N. Halland.

Herb. R. Acad. Sc. Stockholm [S] (cf. Index Herb. 11 (2)), probably with the Bergius herbarium. Evidently no localities known, but possibly from the China voyages.
