Born: 1896, Magelang, Java.

career:

Was educated at Wageningen Agricultural College, Holland, where he took his Dr’s degree in 1930; Agriculturist at several experiment stations, from end 1926-33 stationed at Tandjong Karang, S. Sumatra; Director of the West Java Experiment Station (Buitenzorg), 1933-40; in April of the latter year appointed Head Manager of Pondok-Gedeh Estate near Buitenzorg.

Collecting localities:

S. Sumatra: Lampong Distr. (Nov. 1927, 1931, May 1932); Centr. Sumatra: Djambi, Moeara Boengo (c. June 1929). -E. Java: G. Andjasmoro, Pengandjaran Estate (193.).
