career:

Was educated at Wageningen Agricultural College; in 1923 appointed Consulting Agriculturist in the D.E.I., stationed in Java, respectively at Djokjakarta (1923), Malang (1924-25), Buitenzorg (1925-28; partly at the disposal of the Veterinary Survey), at Pamekasan (Madoera, 1930-33), at Singaradja (Bali, 1934-38), and subsequently transferred to Medan in Sumatra; retired in 1947.
