Born: 1860, Riouw, D.E.I. Died: 1936, Bennekom, Gld, Holland.



Joined the D.E. Indian Civil Service in 1881; when Assistant District Officer he made some trips in the basin of the Lower Ketaun, Benkoelen Res. (S. Sumatra), viz from Moeara Santan (Aug. 13-22, 1885) and in July 1886 visited Sekandau again.1 In 1910 he was promoted Resident of the Padang Highlands, Sumatra West Coast; retired in 1915.
