Born: 1899, Stockholm, Sweden.

 

career:

Officer in the Royal Horse Guards, who served in the Hungarian (1933) and Polish army (1937); retired after the war. In 1950-51 member of the Australian Hallstrom Expedition to Jimmi and Ganz Rivers in New Guinea, to find rare animals and birds of paradise and to contact unknown tribes of pygmies in the Bismarck and Schrader Ranges.1
