Born: 1898, Breda, N.Br., Holland.

career:

Biologist who studied and took her Ph.Dr’s degree (1930) at Utrecht University. Subsequently she came to Java where she held various appointments as a teacher. Since 1939 stationed at Semarang. After internment by the Japanese, and evacuation to Holland, she returned to Indonesia in May 1947.
