Born: 1882, Rotterdam, Holland.

 

career:

Forest Officer who joined the D.E. Indian Forest Service in 1905. For many years stationed in Java, mainly in the teak districts; in October 1920 transferred to Pager Alam (Palembang Res., S. Sumatra), and from March till May 1921 in charge of the S. Sumatra Division and stationed at Palembang. Subsequently back to Java, in which island since 1923 working specially in the Cheribon region. He retired in 1929.
