Collecting localities:

Preussische Expedition nach Ostasien’, 1860-62.1 Detailed data cf. sub Wichura (also sub E. von Martens). Schottmüller collected at least in Madeira, Singapore, Japan, China, the Philippines, and Java. He is cited to have collected in Borneo too (1862),2 but no data about the ship touching at that island are known. He evidently part of the time sailed in the ‘Arkona’, like von Richthofen (see there).
