From 1947-51 police-officer, from March 1951-Aug. 1953 with the dammar collecting, since Nov. 1953 on monthly pay in the employ of the Forestry Service at Hollandia, New Guinea.

Collecting localities:

1954. West New Guinea: Manokwari (Feb.), Prafi Plain; with P. van Royen (see there) in the Cyclops Mts and Kebar Plain.-1957. Tiliwalimilik near Sorong (March 19).

Herb. Leiden [L], and Manokwari [MAN]: numbered in the B.W. series (cf. sub Boswezen Nieuw Guinea); in 1957 ± 100 nos.
