Born: 1896, Haarlem, Holland. Died: Sept. 18, 1944, o/b s.s. Junyo Maru near Sumatra.

 

career:

Since 1921 Forest Officer in the Dutch East Indies, at first stationed in the Java teak districts; since 1928 in Sumatra, respectively at Sibolga in Tapanoeli (1928-30), and at Fort de Kock in the Padang Highlands (Sum. West Coast). In 1936 he was replaced in Java.

 

Collecting localities:

1921. E. Java: Ngawi (June), G. Lawoe (June 15), teak districts (Aug.).-1931. Sumatra West Coast.-1934. Sumatra West Coast: G. Kerintji (Febr.).
